Great place, walked in both times. Friendly staff and nice, small menu with good options. Dinner plates from 8pm onwards, small appetisers before that. Tasty cocktails, classics and their house ones. Definitely go for the stake tartar!
I had the suggested meal of the day, a large meat dinner and I was happy with it with an IPA, just like I do in Texas and it was nice to find such a meal here. The potatoes were nice too and the IPA went well with the meat.
Hot damn! Whoever was running this kitchen on this hot summer night (18th June '22) is a true pro. It was the best meal we had all through our 10 day France trip and we were full after it. Best grilled fish filet I ever had. So glad we decided to try this restaurant for our last night, if we had more time I would've come back to try the lamb dish. Also very good music and a cosy atmosphere.
We returned here two years after our first/only visit and were pleased that we did. Our outdoor table was sheltered from the early afternoon sun and we spent a very pleasurable time over a relaxed lunch. A starter of spinach/feta/pine nuts in filo pastry was very good but the star really was the beef tartare with frites. A cool rosé kept our food company before finishing with a coffee. Service was superb from both servers. Next time we’re in Marseille we’ll come back. Thank you!
On Monday evenings, there aren’t many places open for dinner in Marseille. We ended up here by chance on a rainy day, following a bartender’s recommendation. From the outside, it looks like a small bar, but inside, it’s more spacious and even has a little garden. More than anything, this cozy spot serves incredibly delicious dishes from its kitchen. The team is young and full of energy. I highly recommend it to everyone!
very busy bar/restaurant. you might think the bar is small but they have more space at the back. food was excellent. I really like Panissa. they were very fresh with nice peppercorn flavor. beef tartar was very fresh. I wish they had malt vinegar to go with their fries.
I found this place by accident while exploring, and I’m so glad I stopped. The staff were really kind, and the roast beef was delicious. I had it with a glass of house red, and the price was very reasonable. Such a nice surprise – I’d come back for sure.
WOW really enjoyed the super fresh fish in a delicious rich white cream sauce, with the leek adding a nice kick to it and filling you up well with the rice. Honestly did not expect such amazing food, I thought it was just a bar mainly for drinks Friendly and efficient service too, also nice to sit outdoors and enjoy watching the people and traffic pass by, wonderful experience!!
